Chocolate Truffle

Ingredients

For dark chocolate Truffle (Servings: 6 truffles)

Ingredients

  • 90g of dark chocolate chopped into small pieces
  • 3¼ tablespoon of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • 2 drops of vanilla extract
  • sprinkles, coconut, cocoa powder, chopped nuts or whatever you choose

Directions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, add in the cream, unsalted butter and heat it for about 1-2 minutes.
  2. To the hot cream, add the chopped chocolate and whisk to form a uniform mixture.
  3. Add the vanilla extract to the mixture.
  4. Store it in refrigerator for about an hour.
  5. Now, take them out of the refrigerator and roll them to balls. In case they have melted a lot then put them back in refrigerator for half an hour.
  6. Roll them in sprinkles, coconut powder or whatever you choose.
  7. Keep them back in refrigerator till ready to serve.

For white chocolate Truffle (Servings: 6 truffles)

Ingredients

  • 90g of white chocolate chopped into small pieces
  • 1½ tablespoon of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • 2 drops of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of dried coconut powder
  • A small pinch of salt
  • dried coconut to roll

Directions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, add in the cream, unsalted butter and heat it for about 1-2 minutes.
  2. To the hot cream, add the chopped chocolate, vanilla extract, salt, dried coconut powder and whisk to form a uniform mixture.
  3. Store it in refrigerator for about an hour.
  4. Now, take them out of the refrigerator and roll them to balls. In case they have melted a lot then put them back in refrigerator for half an hour.
  5. Roll them in coconut powder and keep them back in refrigerator till ready to serve.

For peanut butter truffles (Servings: 4 truffles)

Ingredients

  • 100g of peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • Tempered or melted chocolate for rolling

Directions

  1. In a bowl, take peanut butter, unsalted butter and powdered sugar and mix all of them to form a uniform dough.
  2. Roll them into small balls and keep them in refrigerator.
  3. In a bowl melt some chocolate and roll in the balls in the dough and leave them in refrigerator till ready to serve.
